I always keep my reviews plain and simple: straight to what you need to know.

Pros:

- Chronologically written walkthrough.
- Good strategy given for some missions.

Cons:

- No maps for singleplayer, only for multiplayer (WTF?!)
- Most screenshots/pictures are too small or too dark.
- Only a couple of War Assets are mentioned.
- Some important events are not given a clear explanation if they will result in Paragon or Renegade outcome.
- Without maps, there's need to read through chunks of text. Pick-up items are highlighted in the text but not all the time and sometimes not mentioned.
- A couple of mistakes.

Overall, there is no reason why Prima went off from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 guides' design by not including maps and went the Tales of Vesperia guide route (text everywhere). Biggest flaw is the omittance of a list of War Assets. This has to be the worst Prima guide I've seen to date.

The information given is too vague and in some cases outright wrong. It is useless to have a guide that isn't helpful at all. But the pictures in it are nice and there is a good chapter on the various characters, as well as helpful info on levelling up. In the end google would be more helpful than this book. I probably won't buy a Prima guide ever again.

There is a wealth of good information within these pages, unfortunately some of it is in error. There were at least two instances where the book claimed I would not be able to do something based on past choices and in the end I was able to get the outcome I wanted despite what the book told me.

Very helpful guide. Will definitely use it on more play through times of the game to complete all of the objectives.

This guide could easily stand on its own with great graphics and a well written story. Information is presented in a logical manner and it's easy to find what you're looking for. A definite edge when playing this game.
