Not his best, but still enjoyable, Jan 1 2011

I believe I've now read all of Augusten Burroughs' stories. While this particular book was not my favourite, I still found it quite enjoyable. It reads more as a collection of short stories about notable Christmases throughout his life, so I read them throughout the month of December to get in the spirit. As in his other stories, Burroughs approaches all of his quirky/bizarre/sad/fun/odd ordeals with humour and with substance. His less-than-perfect Christmases are no exception.
If you enjoyed his other books, you will enjoy this too - but I won't be pushing others to read this the way I've pushed Dry and Possible Side Effects.
