I have only read one of Cheyenne McCray's novels before this one. i found it entertaining, action pack, and full of twists and turns, so i took a chance and purchase another.

Dark Magic has supernatural battles, end of the world threats, other realms, and fierce independent women. it is also mainly a romantic novel focusing on the forbiddon love of two couragous individuals.

i, personally like a little romance thrown into a novel im reading, as long as that is not the main storyline. unfortunatly, i cannot say that is the case with this novel. at least there was enough supernatural events, murder, magic, and unique characters to keep me reading.

the novel was okay, not the worst i have read but not the best. her demon series is much more my style then this series, but to be fair, i will more then likely purchase many other books, including ones in this series. she is a great author and her books so far, are an interesting read.

if you like supernatural, romance, murder, mayham, forbiddon love, and much more, then this is a perfect book to add to your collection.
