It's hard to believe that more people haven't written reviews for these books: all of Janet Evanovich's series, 1 thru 9, are fast, fun reads !They should all be made into movies, great story lines.

I guess you have to have a sense of the absurd to enjoy these books. Or to have experienced being female, single over 30 and feeling directionless. None-the-less, these books are laugh your rear off funny and entertaining. They are not to be taken seriously but they are cetainly to be enjoyed.
