This book is not nearly as good as the actual Design Patterns book in its approach and writing. I find that it takes a bit of digging to actually separate the "pattern" part out of the implementations given. Overall I liked the book, there are some patterns I had not heard of before. If this book were better organized I would given it a higher rating. This is also the only book I know of that addresses parallel programming patterns, so hopefully a future edition will have better organization.
