I was looking for a beginners guide to food photography, "Snapshots to Great Shots" does a very good job explaining the basics but the more I read, the more the book recommended equipment I was in no position to acquire. I understand that all the equipment recommended are an essential part great looking photos but I would have like to read more about how similar effects could be achieved if one had no access to such equipment and software.
All in all, good read. I know a lot more than I did before reading this book.

This book is great, very easy to understand, very infomative, full of quick tips and tricks without having to wade through masses of technical details. I recommend these books to anyone who wants a quick answer

This book is just what I needed! It answered many of my questions about lighting and subjects. The pictures are so beautiful and clear, they really help you to visualize exactly what your set-up is supposed to look like.
The tips were both an eye-opener and a Godsend.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is even remotely interested in food photography.

this is an excellent book. Well written, great illustrations, superb photos. easy to follow instructions to set up your own great food shots.
