5.0 out of 5 stars Fifty Shades Darker
Could not put this book down, absolutely loved it! Favourite of the Trilogy. Like all the other 50 Shades books, I would recommend this book to everyone! If you haven't started it get on it!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Twilight without the vampires
The first book was okay, with some interesting aspects (including good sex scenes) that made up for the juvenile writing and even more juvenile characters. I made the mistake of buying the other two books right after finishing the first. The series is essentially based on the old fallacy that messed up guys can be "fixed" by the right woman. It's also chock full of...

too repetitive for me. The storyline was the only thing that kept me going but the repeated BDSM made it hard to continue reading to the end.

As for the first volume, I enjoyed the story of Mr Grey's life very much and found it rather sad.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favourite of The Fifty Shades Trilogy, April 28 2013

I just loved the romance in this trilogy. It was quite a shocking read for someone (myself) not familiar with "kinky sex" and certainly I have great difficulty in understanding how someone could enjoy pain together with their sexual exploits. I read that the books are porno for women which surprised me, but I can see where such an idea is coming from. For myself it was the love and the development of the relationship that I enjoyed. Of course I felt improvements to some of the story lines could be made, but overall I give it `` two thumbs up``.

I should have wrote this review a long time ago. I read all 3 in this trilogy in 6 days.

I found this second book to be my favorite out of all 3. it was still sexy, but had a little action and left me anxious to finish. You meet mr grey on a whole new level. love it. 5 stars. I will re-read all 3 books.

This book was good as a continuation of the 1st one but seemed a little slow in comparison. But, don't get discouraged as all will be redeemed in the last one.
