too repetitive for me. The storyline was the only thing that kept me going but the repeated BDSM made it hard to continue reading to the end.

I didn't see my wife until she finished the book. She rated it a 4 and the first a 5.

As for the first volume, I enjoyed the story of Mr Grey's life very much and found it rather sad.

I just loved the romance in this trilogy. It was quite a shocking read for someone (myself) not familiar with "kinky sex" and certainly I have great difficulty in understanding how someone could enjoy pain together with their sexual exploits. I read that the books are porno for women which surprised me, but I can see where such an idea is coming from. For myself it was the love and the development of the relationship that I enjoyed. Of course I felt improvements to some of the story lines could be made, but overall I give it `` two thumbs up``.

tordu, dangereux, met le sexe sadique comme bon. recrée le pattern de Cendrillon, un roman Arlequin avec sexe morbide immensément malsain

I should have wrote this review a long time ago. I read all 3 in this trilogy in 6 days.I found this second book to be my favorite out of all 3. it was still sexy, but had a little action and left me anxious to finish. You meet mr grey on a whole new level. love it. 5 stars. I will re-read all 3 books.

This book was good as a continuation of the 1st one but seemed a little slow in comparison. But, don't get discouraged as all will be redeemed in the last one.
