Finally a book that gets my son's interest !, Aug 18 2006

My son is 8 years old and would rather watch tv or play Playstation 2 instead of reading a book. I was looking for a book that might "spark his interest" and I landed on this one. He read 3 whole chapters from supper to bedtime last night and is now halfway through the book this morning. HE LOVES IT !!! Next I plan to purchase Magic Tree House books 1 - 12 in the hope that he gets as addicted to reading as I am !
