5.0 out of 5 stars Mystical, Romantic, and Unique
I loved the spiritual side of this story. It makes the romance between Night Thunder and Rebecca unique and deep- rooted. The story as a whole, captivating.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very spiritistic.
This book talked way too much about the spirits of his ancestors. Night Thunder's dead ancestors had even married him and Rebecca. And they were constantly running into these restless spirits. And Night Thunder was suppose to be able to make his spirit leave his body and then went to talk to Rebecca when she had left to go back to the fort. There was just way too much...

5.0 out of 5 stars Mystical, Romantic, and Unique, Oct 8 2003

This review is from: Night Thunder's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
I loved the spiritual side of this story. It makes the romance between Night Thunder and Rebecca unique and deep- rooted. The story as a whole, captivating.
Night Tunder is a hero in every sence of the word. Honorable, brave, and powerful. He is also a Medicine Man, who is able to communicate with spirits from the past. Rebecca and Night Thunder are both shocked to discover that she also has "great medicine." The two finding that they can communicate even when separated. Romantic!
Rebecca is a bit annoying at first, because she actually considers giving up Night Thunder for the sake of wanting to attend a ball. (Is she nutty?!) But thankfully she comes around. And as dedicated as he is, Night Thunder finds a way to give her everything she ever wanted. Very Romantic!
This book was great from start to finish. Be sure to read "White Eagle's Touch" first! It will give you an introduction to Night Thunder's and Rebecca's characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Good., Feb 26 2003
This review is from: Night Thunder's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
Really loved the supernatural twist. Don't know why I waited so long to review it. It is sensual and fun to read. I put it in my top romantic reads along with Anything, My Love, by Cynthia Simmons and Fantasy Lover by Kenyon. All sizzling page turners you should not miss.

There was just way too much spiritism in this story. I admit the characters were very well written, but I like to read about the romance between the characters and not their spirituality.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of Karen Kay's Best, Jun 20 2001
This review is from: Night Thunder's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
I'm just starting to read the Karen Kay series of books, but when I read this one, it had action, romance, mystery and magic!!! This book covers the basis of everything that is needed in a novel, even the love scenes make you envy the characters. Night Thunder is everything that makes a man a man, and his love for Rebecca is so real. This is a book I would recommend to everyone who loves Indian Romances, like myself.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Winner!, Oct 13 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Night Thunder's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
Another great novel from Karen! Her characters move off the page and into virtual reality with their dialogue and humor. Night Thunder is all that and more. He has my vote for hero. A long time in coming - it is wonderful to read the true essence of the American Indian.

4.0 out of 5 stars Warrior must choose between betrothed and woman he saved, July 11 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Night Thunder's Bride (Mass Market Paperback)
Night Thunder had sworn to protect Rebecca after he'd saved her life. Now that he has, he must uphold his promise by taking Rebecca as his wife. She, however, has a problem. According to Blackfoot tradition, a man can have more than one wife. Night Thunder had been promised to Blue Raven Woman when they were children. Rebecca would like nothing more than to have Night Thunder for herself. This wonderful, sensual story has the earmarks of becoming one of the most touching romances of the year. Karen Kay is well on her way to becoming a shining star in the world of Native American romance.
