This review is from: Adult Children Of Parental Alienation Syndrome (Hardcover)
Dr Baker's takes a simple, yet highly effective approach which helps "outsiders" understand that, this parent imposed cancer of a phenomenon really does exist, and is not simply a transient condition that will blow over once the kids are grown.
She is clear: Parental Alienation is a serious form of CHILD ABUSE.

Easy to read, the subject matter captivates the reader as well as any fictional book, however, sadly these are true to life stories of pscyhological abuse as recounted by now, grown victims. Dr Baker adds scientific structure to validate and illustrate the pervasive impact of this form of abuse.

Her "case study" approach makes it so clear, one can actually visualize the tremendous pain and suffering inflicted by the psychologically violent/abusive parent. As is evident by her title "adult children of parental alienation syndrome", adult children describe the anguish and emotions they endured in approximately 85% of the cases, by their own mother.

Further, her work will help teachers, guidance counsellors and so forth
to answer the question I have heard so often, "how can a child be so effectively brainwashed; how could this be? ".
Dr Baker accurately, albeit harshly compares the tactics used by alienators as cult like.

I will go as far as saying that I firmly beleive that Dr Bakers reference work will move **some** ethical professionals ( maybe even some lawyers ) to stop ignoring flagrant cases where divorce lawyers actually fabricate and fuel these conditions for child abuse, thus , scarring tens of thousands of innocent children each year.
Maybe these "ethical individuals" may even take disciplinary action against those lawyers who fuel this abuse!

I am so convinced, I have actually supplied copies to teachers as gifts,
so they may recogize the pain some of their students may be suffering.

Dr Baker,.... congratulations on your important contribution to society, and I thank you.

I eagerly look forward to your next work.

This review is from: Adult Children Of Parental Alienation Syndrome (Hardcover)
This is the final verdict to Parental Alienation. While the courts tie themselves in knots trying to decide if Parental Alienation is a syndrome or not, this work visits the consequences of Parental Alienation with the victims. Alienators are a horrible people that suffer from serious psychological problems and inflict on their victims untold pain. This book is a clarion call for the justice system to act, and save defenseless children from these predators. This book is very timely.
