I love this book. The best part is it reminds you of the simple joys in life. Each story is 1 to 3 pages and you can just read a few at a time or a lot. This book is a new favourite and has been tucked away in my Christmas box to be brought out each year at holiday time to savour, laugh with and enjoy. I loved it so much I bought it for everyone I buy gifts for at Christmas. Buy this book, you won't be disappointed.

I have this book at work sitting on my desk, it's a great pick me up just to have around and read to take me away from those hard days. A great purchase and great gift!

In a word this book is of course "awesome". Not only does The Book of Holiday Awesome cover winter holidays, it covers holidays during the whole year!
I would recommend this book for the person who is feeling overwhelmed during this Christmas season-it is a nice little break to remind yourself that while you may be annoyed with the crowds, and planning holiday feasts with crazy family members in the end it will all be worth it. Awesome.

Neil does it again with this incredible and festive edition of 1000 awesome things!! I would recommend this read for any returning fans, or even for those who have yet to be introduced to Neil and his creative genius. This year, cuddle up with some egg nog, a ridiculously fluffy blanket while Christmas music plays in the background, and THIS book.. suddenly, even that snowstorm that is heading your way doesnt seem so bad! :)

It is because of him that I too can look at the little things in life and suddenly feel much more grateful, and much more awesome!!!

I love the whole Awesome series - it's my go to gift for friends, family and teachers. Myself and my young son love finding an "Awesome" that we wish we could have in the next book. This Holiday edition is fantastic and is great as a stand alone book or an addition to your collection. I have just sent this Holiday edition to my friends in the UK - it's an Awesome book and will make a great Christmas treat. Thank you Neil, you're awesome.

The Book of Holiday Awesome proved to be just as I expected...absolutely awesome!
It's the perfect stocking stuff for this holiday season as the whole family can laugh and smile over all the awesome things shared...such as eating all your advent calendar chocolate at once and drinking with grandma!
Loved every bit of this book...even the summer and halloween additions were a great surprise!

Okay, so if you've read the other two Books of Awesome and, especially, if you follow Neil's blog (1001awesomethings.com), you've already read "The Book of (Holiday) Awesome." But this small volume does shed positive light on holiday stress and brings together awesome tidbits from Christmas, Easter, Hallowe'en and more.
