Fitness Lover,

This review is from: 5-Factor Fitness: The Diet and Fitness Secret of Hollywood's A-List (Paperback)
I bought this book recently, I have read alot of fitness books and magazines but this is the best. It is everything you need with no bull crap and it actually works. I was so sore after the first 25 minute workout I did. I will never waste money on another mag again. I recommend this book 100%

Good but Limited for the Long Haul,

There is no question that Harley has a good program here - the workout plan is demanding, interesting and effective. It is also very efficient with its use of time - Like most people, I have a full life (in my case a family, a small business, yoga, community involvement and so on) so I simply don't have a full hour to devote to an exercise program every day. Harley addresses this well with this program, packing the exercises into 25 well-used minutes. Perfect...So why don't I give this book five stars? Because it gets you going on a excellent program for 5 weeks and then drops you like a hot potato. There is not a word on what to do after you have finished the five week program and still have the rest of you life to live. No clue whether to just do it all over again exactly the same, or change the reps or the weights or whatever. Checking out Harley's web site doesn't help either - it is all about 5-Factor Diets and 5-Factor Potato Chips (I'm not joking) and stuff about weight loss. Great, but the point for us is fitness and I guess that just isn't as profitable as diets these days. Anyway, my husband and I hung on for a year and a half of repeating the same 5 week program, experimenting with weight and rep changes, but we were just guessing. In the end we started to experience strain injuries and moved on. Too bad, because we really wanted a program we could set up as a life style and the 5-Factor got close but fizzled. Maybe Harley's next book will address that - if it does we would buy it in a second.

Everyone who knows of Harley Pasternak knows his programs work, if you work them. The book is easy to follow. Mine is almost worn out. A great program.
