I've always been skeptical of mediums and psychics, but, following the death of a family member, I picked up a copy of this book. Regardless of your beliefs about the subject matter, John Edward does detail some remarkable experiences. If Edward does what he claims (and it seems true), he has a supreme gift. This book is highly recommended, especially for those who have suffered a loss. If you are a skeptic, beware, because the book may change your mind.

I HAVE LIKED YOUR BOOKS AND SHOW IN THE PAST, BUT THIS LAST READ WOKE
ME UP AS TO WHAT A TRUE CATHOLIC IS. SORRY, THUMBS DOWN.
AS A MATTER OF FACT, I THREW THE BOOK OUT HALF WAY THROUGH.

This book was exactly what it should be - an account of John Edward's experiences and how he got where he is from his warm Italian family beginning. What makes this book stand out is the fact that Edward doesn't advocate any particular belief system - and doesn't force the reader against a closed set of thoughts. Rather he presents the evidence and let's the reader decide what to believe. Mystical and comforting, Edward's account of afterlife communication is definately something to think about.

I think the ultimate testament to how good this book is is that it made an skeptic believe John Edwards is telling the truth. I have a hard time trying to reconcile my religious doubts with my belief in the stories in this book, but I did believe every one. I couldn't put the book down. The stories are just so compelling and heart-breaking, I cried through at least half of them. I'm sad now that John's TV show is off the air. When I see him do a reading on one of the audience members, I can tell that it's real for those people and that they are not acting. I highly recommend this book.

As a Psychic Medium this is one of my favorite books to recommend. Unlike so many metaphyscial books that reflect a very serious tone,John's upbeat approach in contrast makes it a delight to read. Not only does he confirm that life does in fact exist beyond death but also he reminds his readers of the importance of connecting with our loved ones while still on earth. This book is a must read, for anyone who has doubts about the possibilities of life after passing. I have not been able to put this book down. I only wish I could meet John Edward in person. A close family member just passed, and this is helping me to accept that he is not gone, and is still able to communicate with us.

After reading many books by several empowering authors such as Betty Eadie, John Edward, Sylvia Browne, and Tiffany Snow, that I am still reading, my life has opened up to me in such a compelling and wonderful way. This new book is well written, and thought provoking. There are great transforming authors, who shift the consciousness of humankind in a way never known before, and have the courage to reveal their paranormal experiences. "One Last Time" is one of these.

Good read - people are smart enough to figure out what they get from the book for themselves. As for the people who are going on about demons this and the devil that - well they must be unhappy to begin with to even believe in a so-called "devil" - God did bless them with a mind that they should actually put to use once in a while - people try to hide behind their interpretation of the bible and push it on others without realizing they could be wrong too - besides that these bible beaters talk so much about demons and devils that I think they actually like them.

After attending one of John Edward's many seminars, I purchased his book, "One Last Time."
It was the first book of John Edwards that I've read, and once I picked it up, it held me, I just could not put it down. With each "encounter" he speaks of in the book, it's like being there; he literally pulls you in, brings you along side him and makes you a part of it. You can literally "feel" his words and emotions.

I highly recommend this book to everyone; regardless of if you have or have not ever experienced the death of a loved one. It will truly bring a feeling of peace to those who are afraid of death, and a feeling of comfort and relief to those who have had loved one's "Cross over," as once you read the stories in this book, you will know that your friend/family member hasn't died, they have simply moved on to the next level. My own outlook on the subject of death and dying has changed immensely.

John Edward is amazing!! He probably helps more people than any one person on this earth.
