Becket is a master to picture the scenery. You'll be literally in the thick of it. A trip to England...

Not a bad read,

This review is from: The Chemistry of Death (Mass Market Paperback)
As novels about forensic anthropologists go, this one was pretty good. Simon Beckett (the author) did a very good job of explaining the process of dying and all of the work that does in to solving crimes using things like bugs to determine the exact time of death. In short, I liked this novel. Beckett was able to write-up a convincing novel with good characters that kept me guessing right up until the end. While I realize this isn't saying much, if anyone is into books that are CSI-like, then I'd recommend this one. |
