Open this book and be prepared to indulge yourself by morphing into the action around you. The writers skill is such that you can smell the smells and hear the pain. The jungle rot will assail your nostrils and make you forget that this is not only a book of fiction but one of fantasy fiction wityh a retro twist unique to that segment.If you like a good sea story. Buy it. If you like retro history, this one is a winner. If you just want to curl up with a good book skillfully written so as to draw you into the drama of the main characters then you have made the right choice and I wish you pleasant reading. |
