Well written, in an engaging way for non mathematicians & learned many things about biology in general along the way. The books introduces concepts which are complex, in an unintimidating, ( but not dumbed down ) engaging fashion. There are some good illustrations to compliment the text as examples and explanation. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in biology, healthcare or anyone else who may wish to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the world around us. I am a richer person for reading this book.

I read this book. It is an informative read for the oh so educated, like first year biology university student like myself...what really strikes me is how little science really knows and that this author is an atheist no doubt which seems to be the mantra for science today...even though the concepts of human interaction and scientific truths are in different ball parks...but overall a good read especially for the mathematics slant of biology..it made me think and rethink of class items...a recommeded as pretty good read.
