The third edition is an excellent book if you want to build or occupy greener buildings. It considers the appropriate strategies, for the various climatic regions of the US/Canada, to provide low cost/earth friendly solutions, to the various heating/cooling/lighting challenges that each region presents. He then goes into detail how to efficiently deal with each challenge using examples from all over the world.

The pictures and illustrations are great and found on every page.
