The absolute bible for getting started in real estate. This volume is most appropriate for those who are truly starting off on ground zero. Some will complain that the content is too shallow, but that's probably because they aren't truly reading it from a beginner's point of view. I would recommend reading trump university commercial real estate investing 101 after reading this one. Beyond that, the various titles from mcgraw hill are more advanced and make for great continuing reading.
