I don't find this book particularly helpful. The structure of the book more or less follows along the Canon manual explaining in a bit more detail the camera and it's options. I expected something different than the redundant step-by-step explanations about the menu options and/or steps to set the camera (again the manual that comes with the camera covers all of that). There even are a few factual mistakes (harmless as they are because you will have figured out the varisous menu options in no time, really). To me, the nice layout doesn't make up for what I am missing in a book like this: an alternative to the manual which is based more on "real life" shooting situations.
