I pre-ordered this book right after the games ended and just received it. With all the books, magazines etc. that were rushed to print right after the games and surely snatched up you're probably wondering why bother with this one? Because this one is done right. It's not just a bunch of glossy pictures of medalists it's the real story of the games. Not just the athletes (of course they're in here too)but stories about the venues, the fans, behind the scenes, fabulous photos I've never seen before and it also includes the Paralympics which is just a bonus as well. If you really want a book to cherish that will remind you of every moment of these games than this is it start to finish and well worth the price for these glorious moments in time Canadians (and hopefully the world) won't soon forget.

I pre-ordered mine along with my closing ceremony tickets, and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I did get to browse through a copy at Chapters recently, and it looks fantastic.

The "look" of these Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was amazing; so is this book. It's big--over 400 pages--full of photos, very well written and fully bilingual. Aside from the things that first catch your eyes (colours, emotions captured, the spirit of Canada) are all sorts of little details. My favourite is the embedding of Twitter "tweets" along the edges of the pages--from fans, media, even athletes.

This book covers the entire Vancouver 2010 Games journey: from conception to bid to candidate city to bid winner and finally host. It is very much focused on Canada and Canadians, but doesn't leave other the achievements of others. It includes comprehensive lists of everyone who volunteered or worked for the Games, and everyone who competed. Very nice touches indeed!

The cover is too flimsy though: it should have been sealed/laminated.

This is an awesome book. A great balance between writing and pictures. The book is very attractively designed using the colours of the Olympics. The photos and their arrangements are artfully done. It is a true coffee table book. It is just what you need to remember the games. Well worth the money and in fact I would have paid much more for it.

This is an absolutely marvellous collection of information and beautiful colour pictures to help us and our family to bring back those fabulous Olympic memories.
It will surely be a keepsake for us all in the years to come. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the Olympics as much as we did.

This is a very well put together book reflecting the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
I heard about it through word of mouth. It should be more publicized, as it is too beautiful of a book to be overlooked.
The photography and commentation its tremendous.
