I love baking, and there is nothing I love baking more than cupcakes! I got this book for Christmas, and though I consider myself a moderately experienced baker, there was stuff to learn in there - new recipes and some good practical advice. It's great for beginners, as it contains many basic cake and frosting recipes that can be matched and mixed, some classics, as well as a few original and sophisticated recipes I had never seen before. Most recipes also have a box-mix substitution, which can come in handy if you are in a hurry or short on pastry flour. It's also great for more experienced bakers, as almost half of the book is about elaborately decorating cupcakes. To me, that is the downside: as much as I like cute decoration, I prefer classic cupcakes, and I am more interested in original cakes and frosting tastes. But for people looking to go really crazy with decoration, this is perfect. I only wished there are had been more recipes and less decoration. I would have also enjoyed a more conversational, as the recipes and tricks are laid out rather dryly. Still a great addition to your library if you enjoy baking, and a lovely gift for any cupcake fan.

I love this book, there are so many recipes in it I want to try! I love the tips they offer and the book is set up in an easy manner to follow decorating tips and recipes. I also love that each recipe has a picture, its hard to find a good cupcake book that comes with a picture for EVERY recipe and idea. Amazing buy and I can't wait to try most of the recipes in the book.

I received the book and started looking through it and every page, I was amazed! The recipes are easy to make, they even show you tips on decorating and the pictures are unbelievable. If you want an amazing Cupcake book, buy this one! You wont be dissapointed! I am just sad I didnt buy it before! Now chow down cupcake eaters everywhere:)
