Like many, I've read a number of Mr. Weiss' other books, and been very impressed with his approach, his style, and most of all, his ability to walk the walk as well as talk the talk. While all of his books have been good, and provided value, I have seen him re-use segments in the past. That does NOT appear to be the case with this one. While many of the ideas have been expressed elsewhere in his other books, they have been presented in a new way that bring together in a clear, logical and concise manner these ideas. He has also added a few new ideas that round out the whole into a truly comprehensive "bible" that could be used as a means to transform a would-be consultant into an actual, working consultant. This would be a great addition to your library, whether you are a newly minted consultant or have been practicing for years.

If you have an open mind, there are some very good takeaways from this book. Alan Weiss delivers the information in a clear and easy manner which makes for a great read. If you are starting out as a consultant, and need guidance on how to create a strong foundation for your business, this book can help you. If you are looking for information on how to capture a client's attention and walk them through the process of working with you, look no further. Well done Alan Weiss.
