Robert Allen has written an excellent book here. For people opposed to network marketing (I'm very bullish on network marketing), that's o kay, Allen offer many other strategies to create wealth. In fact, to create Multiple Streams of Income.

For me, the best and safest way to create multiple streams of income is via network marketing. With network marketing, you can use the same power of leverage that Allen uses and suggests in his real estate books. It is the same principle that Donald Trump used to become a billionaire. In fact, speaking of Donald Trump, several years ago The Donald was on a tv talk show and when asked if he had to start over again, what would he do differently. Trump said he would find a good network marketing company and go to work!

Personally, I feel that everyone should set up a network marketing business. It's low cost, can be started part, part time and you can create a high income rapidly if you are with the right company and put forth the right effort.

Enough of network marketing. It's a winning stategy and I am glad that Robert Allen understands it and is recommending it.

Allen also discusses real estate. He explains how to buy real estate with no money down and using the power of leverage. He also discusses tax liens and discounted mortgages. Both powerful ways to create passive income and again, Allen shows you ways to invest in these power packed strategies with no money down.

Allen also discusses how to be an intropreneur (not my choice) and how to use the internet.

All in all, Multiple Streams of Income is a powerful book that can add many streams of income to your income portfolio. Much better strategy than relying on just 1 income streams---a job.

AND the good news is that anybody can start any of these strategies right now while you are working at your job. They can all be started part, part time with little or no investment and create cash flow immediately.

Great book Mr. Allen. I recommend it.

Multiple Streams of Income is a whole lot of hype punctuated with just as much bad financial advice. Like a carnival barker, each in your face chapter espouses themes as ridiculous as "Network Marketing Is The Income Stream of the Future." The "advice" in this book is worthless and unactionable. Test it for yourself. Pick up the book, read any single chapter, (this will take no longer than five minutes) and then write down on a piece of paper the specific steps you would take to generate the miraculous stream of income the author describes. You will find that like all peddlers of poof he has skipped over the challenging elements or potential points of failure for each scheme. If you really need to generate additional income, you'd be better off finding someone in an honest line of work and asking them how you can learn the ropes. Books like this one build unrealistic expectations and then crush the spirit of those who attempt to follow and fail. The poor souls who pin their hopes on these cheapjacks blame themselves rather than the true author of their failure... another huckster with a handful of magic beans.

Multiple Streams of Income is insightful. The books' scope is broad. It has great tips on how to save money, grow it, and adding other streams of revenue. The investing section is interesting, but I would take the "Dogs of the Dow" section with a grain of salt; See Ric Edelman's: The Lies About Money. Multiple Streams of Income is not a quick rich scheme book. The book arrived in excellent condition; Excellent vendor.

This is Bob's best work to-date. It summarizes all the best ways to add residual streams of income to your portfolio, and teaches you to rely on yourself for unlimited income, rather than someone else's paycheck. Learn to leverage a few small efforts that will continue to pay you for years to come, instead of worrying about how many hours or jobs you need to work to increase your income.

As one of Bob's Protégé students I live and breathe the concepts presented in Multiple Streams of Income, and anybody who writes a negative review has obviously not put in the effort required to get any one of these streams working for them 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, in either a good economy or bad economy - it doesn't matter. In fact, in a bad economy many of these concepts will work even better...

This book is better than his newer version. This first version has some great and interesting ideas for businesses. Howver it is a very hyped book. For instance he tells you how he made $24,000 in 24 hours and "Hey, you can too! - Here's how!"

Well actually it helped that he already had a professional marketing coaching business and that he was a well known Speaker on getting wealthy through Real Estate with some top selling No Money Down books. That meant he already had $100,000 worth of product. He also spent months creating a list of interested prospects who he could market those services to at bargain prices. Then once he pushed the send button he made $24k in sales in 24 hours. Overall though it took months to set it up and 5 weeks to send out the emails that "primed" everyone.... emails that got everyone in buying mood.

An interesting book but definately not gonna help you make $24k in 24 hours!!

And.... If you have ever read One Minute Millionaire (also co-authored by Robert Allen) then you already know his online business secrets anyway!

Don't look any further than yourself, this book will introduce you to what you need to do to unleash the potential within. The book starts with the basics about money management and then expands into a phylosophy of money management that opens-up more than one source of income. Not any source of income, but sources that develop residual income - business income you develop in the medium term that allow you to get paid many times for work you do.

Although Robert Allen is very enthusiatic about the techniques presented, there are no get rich quick schemes here, just sound strategies you can apply to suit your own style. Methods are presented to allow you to manage your money effectively, invest money effectively, write books or other information products with information you already know, network marketing possibilities, internet businesses, and of course Real estate.

After reading his book, I was very excited and started taking steps to improve my financial situation. I am now a successful self-employed consultant, solid investor and developping internet business owner.

A must-read book for everybody trying to understand how to improve his or her situation.

While I admire the success of people like the reviewer who precedes mine, network marketing never really appealed to me. I tried it once back in the 70's, had a lousy sponsor who didn't teach me beans and the company I was in loaded me and other distributors with soaps, shampoo's and so on.

That said, what I like about Robert Allen's book is that he recommends network marketing as a choice but also recommends other ways to create residual income, that are low risk and low cost.

I highly recommend this book by Mr. Allen. It's great.

Considering the state of the economy today, I would assume that Multiple Streams of Income would be must reading for everyone who wants to add extra income streams to their day jobs or to replace their jobs completely.

Unless you have been living in a cave, you should be aware that job security is a thing of the past. And even if you love your job, is it truly providing you with all of the income you need and want? Isn't there a drive inside of you to do more? To be more?

What appealed to me was the content in Multiple Streams of Income and diversification. Judging by some of the reviews, you'd think that this book was just about network marketing or starting a internet business.

Robert Allen offers many strategies in this book. He shows the ultra conservative how to invest in index funds and get slow gradual but safe gains.

He also shows how to make money with covered calls. Here is a technique that almost everyone has heard of but no one knows how to use properly. The "Cooper" covered calls technique in concert with some research via IBD and other sources is a safe and reliable way to make 10% returns or better.

The internet is here and is exploding. Allen shows ways to take advantage of that explosion without resorting to unethical or illegal things like spamming or sending out trash for products and services that are supposed to make certain parts of your anatomy grow. My wife got one of these and was amazed because she wasn't endowed with that on her anatomy.

Anyway, Allen can show you how to use the internet to establish a reliable and honest business.

Network marketing? Why is it that some people still have a problem with that? Was it because of the media blackout from this industry or the fact that media only reveals the dirt? Network marketing is here to stay and growing like wildfire. I just heard of a company that did $40 million in their first year. That is more than Pepsi did in their 34th year! Allen also revisits his startup days in millionaire internship and discloses some great stuff on real estate investing. Anybody who thinks that you still can't buy real estate with little or no money down, think again. How do I know? Because I have done it. Real estate is the safest surest way to wealth available today.

Allen then goes on to discuss tax liens, a safe government way to earn 16%-50% returns government guaranteed! Sure beats that .50% on money market accounts and cd's or even less on savings. And people call those bank instruments safe?

Discounted mortgages are also covered extensively in multiple streams of income. Another powerful and fairly safe investment and Allen shows you how to do them with NO MONEY DOWN!

And there is much more. Like I said, I truly believe that this is Allen's best work. So complete. So diversified and an easy read too.

And even if you love your 9-5 job, you can still do this on a part time basis, after work or on weekends. In fact that is exactly what Allen teaches, to create Multiple Streams of Income. Who says that one of those income streams does not have to a job?

Despite the ever present 1 star reviewer (s), this is one great book by Robert Allen. I don't understand why this guy continues to bash Robert Allen and other successful authors. It does tell us how this person spends his time though doesn't it?

In Multiple Streams of Income, Robert Allen reveals strategies and ideas that are right for the times. People who have been downsized, unemployed or even worse, underemployed and/or tired of the rat race, corporate lemmings etc. will find new hope with strategies that really work.

I can't help but notice the continual attacks on network marketing. All this tells me is that this basher has probably tried and failed in network marketing and therefore chooses to attack it. Or is incredibly ignorant. Just look at the earnings reports of any of the publicly traded companies or read any of the network marketing trade publications to see just how this great inductry is doing.

I have found a company that is only a year and ahalf old and is already doing $40 Million in sales with projections of hitting $1 Billion by 2007. Network marketing is alive and well. But if you don't like network marketing, that's okay. Allen offers 7 other dynamic income streams that don't involve network marketing, can be started with little or no money and offer high return with very little if any risk.

Besides network marketing, I have been enjoying a nice income with the Copper Cover Calls technique and 3 other strategies. This is great book and America owes Mr. Allen a debt of gratitude for sharing this powerful information for the rest of us.
