In this installment of the Richmond Rogues we get to meet Kason and Dayne. I enjoyed the meet cute that these characters have and the way Angell brings them together. Dayne with her tin can parked on Kason's land was quite a fun image. I was sorry to see the story between Revelle and Rhaden get so little time in the overall book. I wish they had their own book I found them as interesting as Kason and Dayne and sometimes more so. As with Curveball I found this story was also missing the anticipation that makes the romance great. The characters again were good but did not have enough depth. Dayne and Kason both had great back stories but for whatever reason I just didn't get emotionally invested in them. There was a lot about the team and the game itself which is fine but that is not why I am reading the book. I want the heat and the romance to carry me away on a little bit of fantasy for an afternoon and I just didn't get carried away. Still an OK book just not awesome.

Love me a man in a uniform! This book hit a home run right from the get-go. Big bad Kason Rhodes, LF for the Richmond Roges arrives home to his double-wide after 6 weeks of spring training to find "somone's been sleeping in his bed". Dayne Sheridan has recently been jilted by her ex-fiance over the radio no less had no intention of leaving her new home without a fight, afterall possession is 9/10th of the law. The chemistry between these 2 smoked up the pages of my book and I couldn't (and didn't put it down)until I was done. This book brought a smile to my face as I read it from the antics of the dogs to Kason's love butterscotch pudding. This book is hot and it's a keeper
