This review is from: The 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' Story: That's Living Alright (Hardcover)
This book provides a superb insight into one of the UK's BEST EVER series. Theres lots of b/w and colour photos spread out within the book itself. I liked reading about how series 1 came together and how it almost didn't get a second series (it came close to being cancel due to a electricans strike going on in England). I should have added this bit at the beginning of my review the book covers all 3 series and is extrmely informative (my opinion). I also liked the story of Jimmy Nail's audition I thought it was hilarious. I enjoyed reading this book a lot although its only out in hardcover I still bought it as I am a fan of the series. This book is jam packed with info and details on all 3 series and also theses a sneak peak at series 4. I do like all the cast my 2 favorites being Pat Roach who tried when he auditioned for the part of Bomber to disguise his thick Brummie accent with a more west country one. Gary Holton (1952-1985 R.I.P.) played Wayne Winston Norris a proper jack the lad if you ask me. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of this superb series.
