Dopey,
By Dale H. Malquist (Pahrump, Nevada United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Las Vegas (Paperback)
No real plot: just an endless supply of fiendish humans and subhumans to slash and shoot. The number of Spetznaz troops are endless as is the supply of beer, Marlboros, Mountain Dew, ammunition and aviation fuel: all, apparently readily available in a ravaged post-war America. What kind of warriors would get drunk and fall asleep in indian country? The author knows zip about Las Vegas and Nevada, but does seem knowledgable about West Central Wisconsin. When I lived there it was just Wisconsin. If you like to read at the 8th grade level you may like these books. If not, save your money: I wish I had.

"Fantastic Story",
By Victoria Taylor Murray "Book Maven" (Kentucky, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Las Vegas (Paperback)
"Battleground USA 2:Las Vegas" by talented writer, Mark Haeuser is one fantastic story! I started this book one night thinking I would read a few chapters before calling it the night...and guess what? It was daybreak before I put this book down...I kid you not, this story is that good! The characters are interesting, the dialogue exciting, and the plot is a real page-turner! Take "10" writer Haeuser you've earned it to be sure!(Highly Recommended Series!) |
