This book is not only entertaining but also instructive. It depicts the greed that lurks in the market and how otherwise normal people fall into committing white collar crime. It is a must read for everyone involved in securities and securities trading from the traders themselves to the lawyers.

Great book. The first half is better because it goes over all the schemes and insider trading. The second half goes over the chase to arrest everybody. A must read. A great book for anyone interested in finding out what happened in the 80s and in understanding 'junk'

Top notch historical perspective. The book is lengthy and detailed but the story would lose much of it's imapct if it was abridged. It covers all the major players and power brokers of the 1980's M&A craze that swept Wall Street. Very enjoyable and highly recommended

This book lays out all of the insider trading securities laws violations that were so prevalent in the 1980's. Stewart writes in a way that is simple without being simplistic. Den Of Thieves is a fast-paced documentary that anyone will find enjoyable to read.

James Stewart's terrific book clearly shows that greed ruled the '80s. For the likes of Boesky, Levine, and Milken, no amount of money was ever enough
