Not as advertised, May 28 2010

This book is far from being a guide to drawing or painting botanical subjects. This illustrations are very accomplished creating a high standard, then the instructions given are barely adequate to begin a project of this sort. It is a good book to introduce the subject but I would caution anyone who wants to begin illustrating and needs a real guide to the steps involved to choose a different book.
