I love this book! It gives great information on bag making in general, and while it has some specific patterns for bags, it gives a lot of great info on how to go about either designing your own bag or using the provided patterns and changing them to suit your own needs or desires. Definitely a must if you love books about creating your own bags!

Just received this book today and it isn't quite what I was expecting - it's better! It's loaded with pictures to illustrate every step and technique and the instructions couldn't be easier to understand. It is really just like taking a class. If you go through this book carefully and do a couple of the projects, you will be able to design and make any bag you can imagine! Highly recommended!

Very attractive book with good photos, a nice variety of sample projects and many transferrable techniques. Several typos and it can get confusing to follow instructions as you have to bounce around different chapters for each technique then back to the project pages, but I'm not sure how else to organize such a book without repeating the techniques with each project. Best solution is to study and practice the techniques before starting a project, to reduce reliance on the step-by-step technique pages. Spiral binding would be worth exploring as the current binding can not lie flat while working.

Over all, quite pleased.
