I was previously cursed with Windows Vista on my computer, but switched to Windows 7 as soon as it became available. The "Plain & Simple" book on Vista had been helpful (I borrowed it from our local library) and decided that the Windows 7 version would be equally useful. I ordered it from Amazon sight unseen and am very happy with it so far.

The Guide provides an easy introduction to the Windows 7 OS. Its demonstrations are easy to follow and it provides a thorough review of the new applications available.
