As you may or may not know, Resident Evil 6 is a really big game.
Not including the multiplayer modes (this review is for the single player/co-op modes) - there are four separate campaigns; each of which are meant to be played twice due to the co-op being a unique experience for each of the two characters in either campaign. Completing one campaign will take you roughly about 10 hours, for a total of 80 when taking into account the entire game.
It is there, where you have all the in-game collectable items, such as Serpent Emblems, which unlock extra hidden content. These items span all four campaigns, and require that you play them with both characters.
The book is printed on high quality glossy paper. The print is flawless, with high resolution imagery, proper/consistent gamma and absolutely no color banding. The hardcover artwork is gorgeous.
There are detailed maps for every part of each campaign. They are easy to follow, and they show the place/position of every items such as herbs, ammo, weapons, keys, experience points, Serpent Emblems and more. Since Resident Evil 6 does not show the player any in-game maps whatsoever, the book is an absolute must have for anyone looking to collect all 80 Serpent Emblems as many of them are well hidden and/or are only accessible when playing as one of the two characters from either campaign.
There's also a wealth of other information on the game, including detailed info on NPCs (humans, monsters, etc.), tips/strategies for newcomers, and more.
If there's anything to complain about regarding the guide, it would have to be the fact that the locations for breakable objects such as crates/boxes/barrels were not included on the maps (although they are included in writing).
For the price ($25.07 at the time of this review), I highly recommend that anyone reading this - who's considering it - purchase this book. Amazon has amazing deals for guides. The price tag on the back of this book reads 40 bucks, so who knows how much longer you'll be able to get it for nearly half that.
Hope this review helps, and happy gaming!
