This book had a lot of promise. Tackling some of the issues regarding the dark side of marriage in the Indian culture. However, the author does not resist her urge to give us a Disney ending, which ruins this story. It burned bright in the beginning, but the second half of the book was wildly optimistic. I would hope for such a change in fortune for any woman who has or has had to marry the "wrong" man.
