My hubby bought me the game and this guide for Christmas. Although I have finished the game long ago I saw the book and decided to write a review.
This is the best guide I have ever used. There are so many pictures you can follow where you are without having to read. When you want to look at the book to see if you got everything you just have to glance at it. I only found 2 flaws with the guide and one was that it fails to mention the gold masked Beedle's boat only shows up twice at key points in the game so if you miss the wisdom gem and the heart container that he sells thats it. The other I cant remember....IT's not at all like the wind waker guide that's so wordy that it proves to just be annoying and you'd rather search it up on the net anyway.

I bought the game and the basic guide book when it first came out, but a buddy of mine dumped a bottle of coke on the book so I went in search of a new copy. I seen this one on here and fell in love with the look of the book, I noticed that it was only a couple dollars more then the one I had to start with. so I said to myself why not. When it showed up at my door I was floored by how much it weighed. as I started flipping trough the pages I realized it had way more information then the one I started with. so I say this if your looking for a complet guide to this game I suggest the extra couple bucks and getting this one. its so worth it.

I got the book in a couple of days and it was better than I expected. The cloth map was a little flimzy but it was still cool. The book is well written and everything is easy to explain. I love the golden feel to it. Its something that you could be proud to put in your book shelf.

I looked through the book a few times, but I haven't actually used it yet. I bought it becaus I was playing the game with the kids, but they've been more interested in other things that this game as of late.
It comes with a great map that shows locations of rupees/bugs/chests, etc and the book itself is jam packed with infoormation and checklists in the back of the book.

I had started to go through the game with another walk through, and got this book part way through. I'm planning to finish the game with this book.

Awesome book :) Nice that it's hard cover and the golden page edge gives it a nice collectors feel.

The game guide is made very well, very good quality. The book is hardcover with a nice leather feel. Inside is a folded colorful cloth map of the vast country in the game. The guide itself is colorful with lots of pictures and nice quality paper pages. It is very easy to read and follow and i really liked the little jokes the authors put here and there. As well, they provide little background history on most characters you meet in the game (otherwise you wouldnt know this info and it is fun to know).

At the back of the book is an index of all the items (like heart pieces) and where to find them in the game. I thought this was very useful since i started using this guide about 1/3 through the game and now i could easily follow the index and go back and collect the heart pieces i missed the first time. Apart from boss level walkthroughs, the guide also takes you step by step of side missions between boss levels as well as what to buy and where to go to get an item. This in my opinion makes the game much longer and more enjoyable. Otherwise i would just go to my next destination without much thought of going back and re-visiting the spots where i was before. The text in the guide is a bit small but i think this is due to lot's of pictures and the game itself being very big, not a big problem. The guide is very thick, i would say an inch - which just shows you how much info is packed into it. I wouldnt take anything out of it, and all the extra information they provide is very enjoyable to read for a fan of the game.

The guide also has very good tips and info on how to use objects - for example if you got a new bow then the guide tells you how to use it and what to do in order to master the item and use it very well. At the beginning of the guide, there is a very useful section on "Training" which shows you how to use the wii remotes for all the moves. This is amazing because if you put the game down for like a year and forget all the controls then you can just read the 2-3 pages and you're good to go.

This would make a great gift for someone who is either just starting Zelda and the Twilight princess or for someone who is maybe 1/2 through. As a huge fan of Zelda games, this was an amazing item and for a very good price. I very much enjoyed using it.
