5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book, great condition, Sep 20 2011
This review is from: Mind Games: The Aging Brain and How to Keep It Healthy (Paperback)
This book is all the title says and more. There is good science in it, easy to read information, great tips to apply to our aging lives and brains and games that make sense because they are put into context and the brain areas that will be improved are explained. I am very pleased with this purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book!, Nov 20 2000
This review is from: Mind Games: The Aging Brain and How to Keep It Healthy (Paperback)
The authors blended together (in eloquent prose) concepts, strategies and techniques to sharpen the mind. This book is not merely one to read, but a book to study and review periodically. It contains valuable information that one needs, and should know about the human brain. The authors did their research and it shows. They combined substance, style, and wit in presenting their information in a manner that makes the material "unforgettable". If you are looking for a gift that just about anyone can benefit from, this is it! It was a terrific gift I gave myself!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Outstanding Book, Aug 11 2000

This review is from: Mind Games: The Aging Brain and How to Keep It Healthy (Paperback)
This book has provided the most interesting games and exercises for practice and entertainment. It has accomplished the goal of inspiring me to continue such activities to keep my aging brain healthy. Positive results from having read it are already noticed. However, this book is more than a book of games. The chapters which involve the development, styles of learning, and processes of the brain are presented in most understandable an dmeaningful ways.

4.0 out of 5 stars Our Views On Mind Games, The Aging Brain and Its Health, Aug 8 2000
This review is from: Mind Games: The Aging Brain and How to Keep It Healthy (Paperback)
We both read the entire book and did the exercises which are challenging and really give your brain a workout, and some of them can be done while driving. It seemed to be saying the brain needs exercise regularly to keep it healthy just as the body does, and the book contains numberless exercises. There is something in it for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book on the topic I've seen!, Mar 27 2000

This review is from: Mind Games: The Aging Brain and How to Keep It Healthy (Paperback)
While there are other books that include "Mind Games", this ground-breaking book describes ageless mental agility. In addition to the many interesting and thought-provoking games, the science behind them is fascinating.
