I always liked the Best of Bridge books and this one combines a lot of the recipes from the other books. I use it all the time because most of the recipes are on one page and I also like the font but above all the recipes are great.

I remember these cookbooks lining my mother's shelf growing up. The pictures are inviting and invoke meals of yesteryear- comforting, mushy, tasty casseroles and stews. However, the 5 items I tried from this book all turned out pretty awful. One a, shrimp in foil with spinach, was inedible. Too many recipes call for cream of mushroom or celery soup. Some even cheese whiz..not a good sign in general.

I bought this because my original copies were in such bad shape. These are the best cook books and when you own them you do not need any other.
