This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Sacrifice - Book #5 (Hardcover)
Stanton was taken at his on will an invitus when he was only 6. He loves Serena but does not want to put her in danger with the regulator buisness. He has sacrificed so much for her he hasn't put anyone to the Atrox for a long time. When he is walking around town Halloween night Malcom a regulator comes and warns him about Lampton. Except he doesn't finish before he says Lampton because he dies and He's an IMORTAL! So all he says is Lamp. Stanton is also trying to keep away from Serena he keeps saying it's that the danger is if the regulators catch him but the real reason is he's trying to keep her away from himself. His dark side is getting more powerfull trying to take Serena to the dark side. I was a little upset at about the end and what the daughters did to him but I guess it's all right now because he is Prince of the Night.

This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Sacrifice - Book #5 (Hardcover)
When I read the intro pages for the book on amazon.com i wasn't sure how much i would like a book written in a view point of a somewhat protaganist despite my crush on the charecter. But i not only loved the book but fell even further in love with Stanton. Stanton gets to show his soft side that is only hinted on when you see a short memory as a child and the loving side with Serena. You get to really know him and see what makes him tick. The book was full of twists and intrigue. Being the Fan i am i never put the book down from the moment i got it in the morning until hours later because i had to know what was going to happen. The ending was so well written and unexpected. \

each of my friends and i couldn't believe the ending and can't wait to hear more about stanton and once agian the author makes us yearn to know what will occur on their 17th birthday.

I LOVE STANTON AND THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!!

The Sacrifice was a great book,my favorite in the Daughers of the Moon series. It kept me interested through the whole book. I really liked it. Having a book about one of the Followers was a great idea, especially Staton. He has always been one of my favorite characters. Staton has an interesting past, and with him being in love with Serena, that adds a teriffic mix to the book.

This is the second best book so far in the series. I think all of us ladies wish Stanton or someone like him were real, and willing to do anything for your safety and well-being. Oh well, a girl can dream can't she?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweetheart Stanton, May 14 2003

This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Sacrifice - Book #5 (Hardcover)
Stanton was taken against his will (invitus) when he was only 6. It was the thirteenth century at the time. Now during present day times Stanton is still a powerful follower, but he hasn't recruited anyone to the darkside since he met his one true love, Serena, a daughter of the moon destined to destroy his kind. And she feels the very same way about him. Their relationship is impossible, but their love is too strong. When some bad news comes around about Serena, his only way to protect her is to bring someone to the Atrox. Serena witnesses this and is furious with him, but later on, she and the other goddesses are able to bring him back to the light, however when a new danger arrives, something happens that has Serena mad at him again. But knowing that the danger will now come after her, Stanton is forced to return to the dark. I wont say what happens next, but I immediately fell in love with this book! Stanton is such dream come true. Half the time while I read it, I was saying to myself, "Aww, he's so sweet. I've got to get a boyfriend like him." Nobody but my fellow readers understand him... I wonder if anybody else will think he's a TOTAL-SWEETHEART-DREAM-HOTTIE!?
Lynn Ewing, keep up the beautiful work, and please make another book about him.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Point of view changes, Feb 20 2003

Catty (Damascys, MD USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Sacrifice - Book #5 (Hardcover)
I like this book because it shows how much Stanton gave up for Serena, even though they fight on differnt sides.
In the thirteenth century, Stanton's father was a great prince of Western Euorpe. His father went on a crusade against the Atrrox. When Stanton was home alone, A girl came to the castle. The Atrox began to surround them. The girl ran, but she fell and the Atrox kidnapped Stanton. He was made a Follower. He was taken for the Atrox saw him as a way to stop his father.
Now, Stanton lives in LA. He hears of a mysterious man named Lambert. Lambert is looking to overthrow the Atrox. Cassandra, being an outcast, is trying to get Stanton to fall in love with her. But he is completely devoted to Serena. Stanton owns a ring that can protect people from evil. He cannot wear it for he has been evil so long that the ring would destroy him if he were to wear it. He gives it to Serena, but is the cause of Catty's dissappearance. The Goddesses were fighting Lambert when the ring deflected an attatck from Serena. The attatck came towards Catty and hit her. Her amulet exploded and she dissappeared. Now the goddesses are weakened, Lambert is after Serena as a way to get at Stanton, and Stanton must make a choice. He must go with a love that could destroy both himself and Serena, or he could give into Lambert and let the goddesses live, but he could lose his life.
