5.0 out of 5 stars Very well writen
As many people thought this book was too predictable, or not up to Lynn Ewings normal standard, and yes, perhaps, she did make like that, but I guess it would depend on who was reading it. I personally, thought at some parts, you could guess who that person really was, but the whole Micheal thing had me baffled. It was very well writen and is a must read for any dotm fan...

3.0 out of 5 stars Too predictable
The daughters of the moon series is great. It was in Vanessa's POV (point of view), kinda. The only problem was, with this book, it was so predictable. For instance, Vanessa meets Hector. Hmm... I wonder why this character is around so much? Hm.... I wonder why he likes the design-tatoo thingy on Vanessa's arm. Hmmm.... I wonder why he's so "perfect"? And then the Tianna...

I personally, thought at some parts, you could guess who that person really was, but the whole Micheal thing had me baffled. It was very well writen and is a must read for any dotm fan. And they really all deserve 5 stars.
the best part of this book had to be the tattoo, it was a clever idea of how the fire marked people, and how it reflected how she felt. It was a great book, and I loved it, plus I really like the charector of Vanessa. She seemed so unstable, and she's really grown stronger mentally.
all these books are great, and I especially like the Daughters of the Moon #7.

5.0 out of 5 stars Moon Demon, Jun 26 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
As Vanessa's birthday approaches she begins feeling left-out. Her friends always seem to be busy with something when she calls and are always leaving her out. Michael's acting weird, Stanton's helping her and Hector, the gorgeous new guy she meets, seems more and more irresistable everytime she meets him. Is there something Maggie didn't tell her? Why won't the stupid tatoo go away? And will she ever tell Michael what she wants for her birthday?

5.0 out of 5 stars Why is everyone saying this book is not good?, Jun 17 2004
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
This book is not the best but I still think it's good enough to get 5 stars. In my opinion you should read this book it's a important part in the Daughters of the Moon Series you'll miss out on a lot of information. The book is about how Vanessa is about to turn 16. But her friends don't seem to want to hang out with her anymore. Catty is spending a lot of time with Tianna. And she is trying to get the courage to tell Michael what she really wants for her birthday. But Michael isn't seeming all very Michael then she meets Hector and her problems seem solved.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest book in the series, Dec 26 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
This is the coolest book of all! It proves that Vanessa is the most witty of all the daughters. She is the most courageous of the five. I hope that she will have another book again in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can relate to Vanessa, Dec 6 2003
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
I like this story. Vanessa is really likable and tries to please everyone but in this book we get to see her hidden ways and learn things about her that she has kept from everyone. (I also love her clothes and the fact that she has a room of clothes her mother has designed for movies so she can shop at home.) I also like knowing who Hector is and what kind of trouble Vanessa is going to get into but the thing with "Michael" was a big surprise.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too predictable, Nov 30 2003

The daughters of the moon series is great. It was in Vanessa's POV (point of view), kinda. The only problem was, with this book, it was so predictable. For instance, Vanessa meets Hector. Hmm... I wonder why this character is around so much? Hm.... I wonder why he likes the design-tatoo thingy on Vanessa's arm. Hmmm.... I wonder why he's so "perfect"? And then the Tianna and Catty scenario. Avioding her, with her birthday coming up? I wonder what they're doing? Also, really, if you were going to warn someone about not touching a fire, why don't you just say "don't touch the fire" But it also tells a lot about the characters and it's a must-read if you're in the middle of the series. I mean, you can't just skip a book, you know? If you really want it to be unpredictable, you should probably tear out the first page, at least then you won't know the most obvious clue.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Book, May 18 2003

Vannesa had some hard times trying to be who every one wanted her to be. When she meets Hector that all changes. Vannesa keeps having this weird feeling her best friend has abandoned her and that all her other friends are hiding something. As if growing up with strange powers wasn't hard enough. A demon has passed through a moon halo and this demon is perfect and cannot be beaten so the Daughters Of The Moon once again have a challenge to over come.

5.0 out of 5 stars YOU HAVE TO BUY IT, Mar 14 2003

like the title says--there's a demon. this one is about Vanessa- how she feels about herself...and Michael. i don't know what her problem is; they belong together...it's totally obvious. the way the book explores the character makes it one of the best in the series. the parts w/ Michael are absolutely adorable. you'll never guess what she wants for her birthday...if you want to know read it yourself!!

Jimena hears that two of her friends have gone missing. She and the other Daughters go to Heaven's Ballroom where Dancing for Dollars is the practice. There, Vanessa meets Hector, a guy who seems beyond perfection. Vanessa is troubled. She likes HEctor, but she has a boyfriend.
Vanessa's best friend, Catty, then comes back from the future to warn Vanessa, but a strange force holds Catty back. Along with her visit, Catty brings a mysterious flame. Vanessa holds the flame for a minute. Overnight, the burn becomes a flowery pattern. This pattern is actually the mark of the devil that the Atrox has summoned to earth. Now Vanessa realizes that there has been comeone posing as Michael. Vanessa must find Jimena's friends, the real Michael, and the demon, before any of these come back to haunt her.
