5.0 out of 5 stars Television Series
I love this series. It is the most interesting read I have ever encountered. I didn't like reading at all, until I found this series. I love it! I buy them and I can't put them down. It has taken me no longer than 3 days on each book. They are so intriguing. I really think Lynne Ewing should consider making them into a Television series or movies. But as we have seen...

3.0 out of 5 stars I don't know about you but Jimena BUGS me!
I don't know about you but Jimena BUGS me. She is my least favorite daughter I was kind of glad of what happened at the end for her but sorry at the same time. I mean you can't understand what she's saying 1/8th of the time. She thinks too much of herself also. It would be a good story if it was a different character like Serena or Catty. Even Tianna mabey Anybody! But...

5.0 out of 5 stars Television Series, July 15 2004

I love this series. It is the most interesting read I have ever encountered. I didn't like reading at all, until I found this series. I love it! I buy them and I can't put them down. It has taken me no longer than 3 days on each book. They are so intriguing. I really think Lynne Ewing should consider making them into a Television series or movies. But as we have seen with Harry Potter, movies can't include every detail. And to put these stories on to the screen and not include every detail would ruin it for everyone. To exclude anything would take away from what she has created.

To Lynne: You are a terrific writer. Your stories feel so real to many of us. Thank you for the great andventures you have given me. I have loved everyone of them. I know the story can't go on forever, but I know it is all worth my while. Thank You!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jimena Castillo, chioce maker, Jun 21 2004

This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Choice - Book #9 (Hardcover)
I couldn't believe it when Jimena was seventeen. I was so distressed. But I believe she made the right choice because she has to save the other goddesses somehow. I hope that she is Maggie successor, but somehow I doubt it because the 11th book is about Catty.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love This Book!!, Jun 21 2004
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Choice - Book #9 (Hardcover)
Jimena is my favorite daugther because is doesn't just care about herself, she care more about the other daughters and collin. I wish I could rewrite the ending but maybe she will become something better than a daughter of the moon! We will have to wait and see!

3.0 out of 5 stars I don't know about you but Jimena BUGS me!, Jun 19 2004
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Choice - Book #9 (Hardcover)
I don't know about you but Jimena BUGS me. She is my least favorite daughter I was kind of glad of what happened at the end for her but sorry at the same time. I mean you can't understand what she's saying 1/8th of the time. She thinks too much of herself also. It would be a good story if it was a different character like Serena or Catty. Even Tianna mabey Anybody! But anyway what happens is the Atrox appears at a rock concert at Planet Bang. She's confused because usually the Atrox sends others to them not himself. Later they find out that it is because of the Scroll and one of the Daughters called it. It was obvious who the traitor was if you really think about it. Also in the next books the traitor acts kind of wierd and there all sorts of hints. But in a way she's not really a traitor she was tricked. So when the Atrox showed up it sucked the daughters with it but before it could get Jimena and Catty they traveled back in time. But Catty panicked and dropped Jimena in enemy territory. So she meets up with her old gang rival Payasa. Then she gets arrested and put in jail. Chris saves her and breaks her out. She and Payasa become friends again. Jimena is also having premonitions of her death. But it's not what it seems. This is a good book but the character isn't.

4.0 out of 5 stars READ ME, April 29 2004
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Choice - Book #9 (Hardcover)
This DOTM book is about Jimena. Catty recklessly drops her in the past as a last chance to save the future. Thing go wrong and she ends up dealing with gangs again. I really liked this book, but I totally hated the end. I mean I know it would happen soon enough, but not like that and not so soon. I wish I could rewrite the end, but ohh well, maybe there will be some weird miracle and all the Daughters will be able to stay goddesses(I wish!!)

5.0 out of 5 stars IT WAS WICKED AWESOME!!!!, Feb 23 2004

Jimena was great in this book how she stood up for her self, and faced her worse fears. She came across alot of obsticles she had to over come. She was haunted by old mistakes, and had a love to deal with. It was really cool how she protected her friends, and old enemies. I learned a lot from her. I loved this book, but when I got to the ending I was a little upset, and I recommend it to any Daughters of the Moon fan because in my opinoin it was the best of the series so far...

I can't express how upset I am at the ending of this. I knew it would come, but not so soon. A definate twist that I did not like. This particular book is heartwarming throughout (except the end) and has an excellent plot with a few new twists and a new character. I definately liked it, but as I mentioned, the ending was terrible. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Althogh I am depressed about it's ending, the book was still fabulous!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Daughters of the Moon Series, Sep 20 2003

genesis (las vegas, nv, usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: The Choice - Book #9 (Hardcover)
I love these series! They have everything a book needs! My favorite is Vanessa after the 7th book (before it was Serena)(I can't stand Tiana!) Anyways the series is about Vanessa (has the power of invisibility), Catty (can go back in time), Serena (can read minds), Jimena (has preminitions), and Tiana (telekenetic powers). These girls are daughters of Selene, they fight the Atrox an ancient evil, and its Followers. They still have their normal teenage problems (boyfriends, parents, friends, enemies, etc.)to add to battling the Atrox. These are my FAVORITE BOOKS! They really capture you. Lynne Ewing is very discriptive, you can totally see what is happening while you are reading. I have read all the books including Party Girl (another book by Lynne Ewing). I just wish Ms. Ewing wouldn't have to make me wait for the next books to come out. Every week I am constantly checking if the next one is out already. Number 9 ending is so horrible. I hope Jimena remembers at least parts of when she was a DOTM or the others fill her in. Jimena is one of the best characters, Tiana should've forgotten, not Jimena. I started reading the books when I was 11, my friend introduced me to tham during a book report. I read number 4,5,6, and 7 all in 1 night! They have been my favorite books since then. Read the Daughters Of the Moon series, you'll love them!
