"Draconian Measures" was a great book full of action, humor, and almost any other emotion that you can think of. This book is amazing. Kang's dracos have successfully found the female eggs and are now among some of their own kind.

But just when they think things are going right, events start happening that Kang and company seem helpless to stop. Someone has hired a huge army of goblins and hobgoblins that are bent on the draconians destruction.

This story is amazing and full of action and adventure. Don Perrin does an amazing job with Draconians. His writing style puts him up as one of the top Dragonlance authors. "Draconian Measures" is a fun, exciting, and smooth read. It is nice to see draconians portrayed as the good guys. This book is a must for any Dragonlance fan.

Draconian Measures definately lives up to its prequel, "The Doom Brigade". As with all Margaret Weis books, the writing is excellent, filled with great character and plot developement, intrigue, drama, and awesome fight scenes. Draconian Measures (as well as Doom Brigade) provides an actual look on the character and personalities of Draconians, instead of portraying them as brainless, feelingless, lizards like most other DL books. If you haven't already, buy both books; it's worth the money. I hope that Weis and Perrin write a third volume about the Draconians new civilization, to give some finality to the questionable fate of the Draconian race.

"Draconian Measures" picks up after where "Doom Brigade" leaves off; the story follows the adventures of the First Dragonarmy Engineers lead by Kang. The draconians live in a world where they are pretty much hated by everyone, and the only thing these particular draconians want is a place of their own so they can live in peace. Unfortunately, someone is out to completely destroy all draconians, and it is up to Kang and his men to prevent that. "Draconian Measures" also introduces us to the female draconians whom Kang feels the need to protect at all costs. The females want to experience the world, but they have not been able to do that under the watchful eye of the commander. This book is full of action and sure to please any fan of the Dragonlance world. One thing that any D&D fans should note is that the statistics for the draconians are listed in the back of the book.

Queen Takhisis is gone. Magic has vanished, prayers are only for the weak. General Khang and his regiments of engineers soon discover that the female draconians, which they acquired in "Doom Brigade", are far greater work than they thought first. How strange the minds of those from the opposite sex are: Both the females and the males are getting confused as the differences between the sexes grows along with the females, and adding to their confusion is the fact, that the entire race knows nothing about love. That is the humerous part. The serious part is, that goblins are chasing them, searching to destroy them. The engineers comes to a strange fortress of draconians, and from here, mysteries are discovered and revealed. The girls draws attention, but not only good-natured. But Khang and his men must protect them at all cost, or else their race will perish, their struggles for freedom be in vain... "Draconian Measures" are one of best books in the Dragon Lance series, part from the original Chronicles and Legends. One comes to understand, respect and even like the so-called evil beings, as their society and minds are described both funny and dramatic in high-quality. The events in the book will capture the reader, in much the same way the "Chronicles" did; for this is a truly well-crafted story, where laughter, tension and tears are sure to come.

Definetly a great book for those who have been reading along w/ kang and his regiment from the doom birgade on, cant wait to see what happens next! Another wonderful novel by Margaret Weis!

This is one of the best in the dragonlance series. It will keep you reeding for hours at end. There is nevor a boring moment in the book and it has a shocking ending.

I was a big fan of "The Doom Brigade" ever since I first read it, and it has become my all-time favorite. Once I found out there was a sequel, I counted down the days until it came out. When I finally got it, I quickly read it until the last page. Without a doubt, this is one of the BEST BOOKS you can ever read. The female draconians are undoubtedly the best part of the book. Fonrar is a strong character, and it's easy to understand her frustration with the overproective males and her wish to be free. You actually feel her frustration. When the females finally show their stuff, it makes you want to jump for joy. The plot is engrossing, and the characters are complete and full. This book is a must for any reader of fantasy!
