Against the Giants had some of the coolest pre-painted mini's to date in my opinion. Largely in part because there were a number of mini's released in this series that were huge in size. Part of the reason that this series was so colelctible and has many mini's that have a reason collector's value in auction site trading like eBay. Here you could and at times got larged sized dragon mini's that you did not need to shell out large amounts of money for and each was beautifully painted as well. Setting a large gold dragon minuature down on the map that is about 6-8 times the size of individual party members sure makes them think twice about what they plan to do, and puts one hell of a nice scare into them as well. Great series of mini's from Wizards, out of print unfortuantely.

I recently picked up two packs of these minis and was very impressed with the artistic qualities of the minis. I received one large mini in each pack in addition to a huge, which could be an unadvertised bonus of the pack or maybe just a stroke of good luck, and was overall very happy with the purchase.

Wizards putting galleries of the miniatures online is extremely helpful if you're looking to supplement an existing collection or if you're looking for a specific style of mini as well.

Great set of minis with this edition with all of the large+ minis. The price is very nice since it's $10 off suggested retail price you would find in the stores. I still wish that wotc would produce some sets where you could buy a box of undead minis, orcs, or other similar groups instead of the randoms.

This product is a great deal. 8 nicely produced figures with one being HUGE. The details are excellent and the cards provide a nice blend of detail and information.
An excellent value at the current sale price.
