...the size of a quarter on the kitchen floor, have recently moved to an entirely different eco-zone and have limited knowledge of turtles aside from being able to say, "Yes, that is a turtle".
Once determining, with great difficulty, the species - Northern Diamondback Terrapin - this book was a tremendous help. After I hurdled the basics, I appreciated the fact that this was more of an intermediary than a beginner's guide. The photos alone, which are sharp, nicely composed and plentiful, make this book worth having.
