I bought "That's not my monster" first because it had higher reviews. My 1 year old loved it so much that I bought "That's not my puppy", but was a little disappointed. Monster is much better - cuter illustrations and more contrast on the touchy/feely parts. In the monkey book everything pretty much blends together and it's hard to see. It's still a great book, but "that's not my monster" is much better.

This books, and the others from the same collection are really good books. The colors, the different textures and the big thick pages make it perfect for a baby. My son loves to touch them, play with them (and sometimes give them a lick...) I have four books, each one better than the other. My son's favorite is "That's not my puppy". The touchable textures in that book are big and full of new sensations for the little fingers. I have another ones from Bright Baby Touch and Feel and they are really bad compared to this ones.

I got this book when my little girl was 3 months old. At the time she didn't really care for it but now she loves it. She reaches out to feel the different textures on each page and even flips the pages sometimes. Definitely a book that she's grown to love over the last little while.

We got this book when our son was 6-months and it was easily his favority book (especially the monkey with the smoioth feet). Now he's 11 months and he still likes it, although he's more fond of finding the mouse on each page than reading the book or touching the monkey parts.

We bought this book for my 1 year old son, after taking out many similar books from the library. This one lives up to the quality of them. Nice thick pages, with interesting textures on each page. Easy story to read/remember. I would recommend this to all new parents.
