The subject matter is intersting and the approach could lead to excitement. The writing is so poor that it`s laughable at first and then infuriating.
Incomplete sentences, chapters and breaks that make no sense; why put a date and time in a `history` book?

4.0 out of 5 stars Some Insightful Perspective on a well known story!, Aug. 15 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Although there isn't a lot of new information, Mr. O'Reilly's perspective on the tragic story of JFK's presidency makes this book an interesting read. I enjoyed the pace along with some of the insightful behind the scenes vignettes. Worth a read!

To learn the truth about this assasination is important because of all the stories which were out there making it difficult to really understand what happened

The subject matter is intersting and the approach could lead to excitement. The writing is so poor that it`s laughable at first and then infuriating.
Incomplete sentences, chapters and breaks that make no sense; why put a date and time in a `history` book?
The author succumbs to the anti Cuba phobia of the 60s and beyond so immediately leaves one with the feeling that what follows is not historical.
And by the way: the writ of habeas corpus is a common law notion and doesn`t exist in legal systems that emanate from the Napoleonic Code. No such thing in Cuba.
