Easy Crochet,
By
This review is from: 7-Day Afghans (Paperback)
I bought this book some years ago but still use it today. I have made several items from the book. It is clear, concise and easy to follow. The pictures are great but I would have like to see the colour pictures next to the patterns. Flipping back and forth isn't fun. And sometimes, you need to see the picture to have the pattern make sense. All in all, it's a great book with some worthwhile projects for both the new crocheter and the more experienced one.

Look past the outdated color combos....,

This review is from: 7-Day Afghans (Paperback)
Yes, the colors in some of these afghans pretty much scream "late 70's early 80's", but if you can look past that and visualize some of these patterns in currently available yarns, there are some gems here. Easy, classic patterns. I crocheted the "Desert Sands" pattern for my 6yo daughter using a bright, rainbow variegated yarn from Red Heart and it came out beautifully, so much so that her younger sister wants a matching one! Some really great patterns here for beginners. Worth having in your pattern library.

A little bit outdated for me,
This review is from: 7-Day Afghans (Paperback)
I was excited by the other reviews and bought the book, but I'm dissapointed with the 70's and 80's look of these afghans. The black and white photos do help to picture other color schemes you might like to try after seeing the colors presented in the middle of the book.

Aghans, fast and easy,
By
This review is from: 7-Day Afghans (Paperback)
This is the book I recommend whenever I am asked which one to buy to do "simple" and "fast" afghans. I'd also recommend this book as an important part of anyone's knitting library for the following reason; sometimes you need to make a fast and impressive gift (for a new baby, a house warming, a sick friend.) What is better than a gorgeous afghan in colors you choose to suit your special friend? And afghans don't have to fit anyone. They are also valuable for using up stashes of yarn and for donating to shelters (check first to see your local shelter wants this kind of donation and if they want washable types of yarn.)

BEST PATTERN GIFTS IDEAS,
This review is from: 7-Day Afghans (Paperback)
How could you ask for anything more? This is it.But at first, I was a little dissapointed when I scan the book. Pictures were all black and white , but wait a minute the middle pages were colored it was numbered corresponding of each project. I made a sigh of relief, of course I wanted it colored. Easy to follow and lots of creative ideas.Hope you'll enjoy this book as I did myself.

7-Day Afghan,

I have made many of these afghans and have enjoyed this book. I found the instructions and patterns easy to follow and they do work up fast. I would recommend this book to beginner and advanced knitters or crocheters. These patterns have given me ideas for some of my own creations in color and design.
