I recently purchased "The Monster of Frankenstein Dick Briefer's Horror Comic Epic" and was so enthralled by his portrayal of the monster I had to have more!So when I saw "Art Out of Time" I took a chance, and I am very happy I did. This book contains a nice chapter on Briefer's Frankenstein (the humorous version) as well as many other "founding fathers" of golden and silver age comics. Beautifully reproduced in full color and loaded with interesting bios of the creators makes this book a must have. |
