Very informative, not for the beginner, Oct 17 2009

I purchased this book as I have read a few of Lillian Too's other publications, and found her to be a very informative feng shui specialist. The book is jam packed with information, and surpasses most of what is out there on offer. Her premise is that anyone can learn feng shui on their own - it is a practical science and given the right information, anyone can become capable of effectively changing their own lives through feng shui. As such, this book is a wonderful resource for someone with the time and concentration necessary to study any field effectively. I am glad I bought this book.
The only drawback is that the material is disorganized. It seems to be presented haphazardly, and there are alot of cross references asking the reader to jump ahead to find the information in question, often to places that are totally unexplained. I'm not sure why the author chose this style, but it makes for confusing reading at times.
If you can get past this, the book is a wonderful addition to an existing feng shui collection and Lillian Too gives much information that is difficult to find otherwise. A great book, and it's beautifully printed too, with wonderful pictures and diagrams.
