Looooooved this book! I read the authors' two other books: Dirty Little Secrets (...) and I'd Trade my Husband for a Housekeeper. I looooved I'd Trade my Husband(...): funny and right on! My girlfriends also loved it! I thought I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids was even better than I'd Trade My Husband(...). If you have a kid or two (or more), I'm sure you'll enjoy this book. Explains what motherhood really is and what it should be if only women didn't lie all the time about being such perfect moms...I know: I'm one of them! LOL

I was really excited to read this book as the title really captivated me. I thought it was going to be a humourous look at modern motherhood. Well..I guess I can say that maybe 5% of what I read was actually kinda funny, however, the rest seemed like it was written by authors with no writing experience and perhaps a couple of moms with too much time on their hands. What I mean is that, it did not read well. Most of the content is stuff you probably already know so don't waste your time or money. The idea behind this book was good, however, the concept was very poorly executed.
