Well worth your time. Read all of the Hemlock County books.
Great book! W.T. Halverson reminds me of my late grandpa. It's difficult to put in into words but this book offers a lot. Halverson was a hard working man when we was young. He loves the woods, he is a man with principles. Despite being an old man, Halverson sets out to solve the recent string of murders during Pennsylvania's buck season. Very weak
The best part of this book was the first page. From there on, it was predictable, including a silly romance, and absurd adaptation of a city-slicker to the wilds.

Great book! W.T. Halverson reminds me of my late grandpa. It's difficult to put in into words but this book offers a lot. Halverson was a hard working man when we was young. Halverson matches his experience as a local woodsman against the greater physical strength of the man whom he tracks.
