Excellent Canadian Book on this subject, April 5 2010
This review is from: Borderland Churches: A Congregation's Introduction to Missional Living (Paperback)
I have read several parts of this book (and hope to finish it at some point). I really appreciated the Canadian references and background of the author. This is not to say that a non-Canadian would not also benefit greatly from this book. It touches on what it means to be a church that seeks to be intentionally on the border with the "outside world" (my quotes), and creates opportunities to connect with the world, because it deliberately chooses to exist in this borderland. For a much more helpful and detailed book review, I recommend the excellent multi-part review provided by Len Hjalmarson on his blog: [...].
This book is accessible to both clergy and non-clergy. It deserves wide distribution within the Christian church, in Canada and abroad.
