These books are great! i started reading them and i also got my mom into reading them and now she's a couple books ahead of me! This boxed set is a perfect starter to get you into reading these eye-opening books! The first book is kind of boring, but keep reading, it'll turn out interseting. When i first read the book of Revelation in the Bible, i didn't really understand it. I thought it would all come at the same time. These books really helped explain it to me and now i'm stronger in my faith and in my reading. These books are really great for children and adults and it helps you understand more. Sometimes these books bring me to tears because of what our world will suffer and will be decieved by the antichrist. These authors are trying to get the message to you that it might be to late so you need to be saved. I really think it was great that i found an interest in these books. they make you want to get on your knees and really pray, i really like these books and i hope you will like the too. ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Books, May 22 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids Books 1-6 Boxed Set (Mass Market Paperback)
These are great books. I am thirteen years old and I've read#1- #8 and am waiting for book #9. I read about one a day. They wereso good I just flew through them. They really help you understand the end of the world from a christian perspective and refer to the bible and state some verses in it. I really respect the characters in the stories all though they are not real. They represet brave christians who have accepted christ and changed. They also help dislay how you need to talk out about God. These books really deserve 5 stars and I encourage you to read them. I know these books will touch you as they touched me.

5.0 out of 5 stars a book for christians everywhere., April 29 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids Books 1-6 Boxed Set (Mass Market Paperback)
An excellent illustration of the end of the world. It has an excellent message, but the first few books are a little on the borin side, but after the wrath of the lamb earthquake in one of the later books things really start to heat up. Although they are extremely fast reading and they are written in such simple language, the message should strengthen faith for christians of any age. These books are the begginning of a massive series depicting the last years of the earth, armageddon, and the rise of the Anti-Christ, and the persecution of Christians and Jews in the last years of the world. Even though I wish non-christians would pick up this book to read, I doubt that it would have anywhere near the effect it should have on a christian reader. I would recomend this to a non-christian who is open minded and not completely set in the ways they were brought up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Books, Jun 25 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids Books 1-6 Boxed Set (Mass Market Paperback)
I really liked this set of books, especially when I started to read the adult books {For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, the adult series titles are: Left Behind, Tribulation Force, Nicolae, Soul Harvest, Apollyon, Assassins, The Mark, and Desecration, [soon to be released]} and saw how they tie in with the kids' books. Judd, Vicki, Lionel, and Ryan are vivid characters. They are real enough that I just have to finish each one I get that very day. I managed to get the two new ones read in one day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, May 20 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids Books 1-6 Boxed Set (Mass Market Paperback)
Great books, the first few are a bit boring but they get much better. Don't be fooled by how small these books are they have a Great message and are action packed. The characters Judd, Vicky, Ryan and Lional are all left behind when the second coming of christ happens. The books are great for kids and adults waiting for the next of the adult books to come out. If you are a christian or just wondering about christianity these books will tell you what to expect in the years of the tribulation.

5.0 out of 5 stars All Books in the Left Behind Series for adults and for kids, April 26 2001

This review is from: Left Behind: The Kids Books 1-6 Boxed Set (Mass Market Paperback)
We live in a world that appears to find ways to keep the gospel from spreading to both adults and children alike. These books provide the unbeliever with an insite into God's love and what Christianity is all about. These books also provide an interesting way to emphasize the importance of getting "right with God" to backslidden Christians. It is a wake-up call for those of us who are believers; reminding us of what is to come. This very entertaining series of books portrays God's message for anyone to read in an exciting and spellbinding format. What a wonderful way to introduce Christianity to those who are lost both young and old. These books are exciting, not dry and boring. They are a great reading experience for all.

If you're a fundamentalist Christian

prologue, not a novel. It's preaching to the converted. ....
